Confirm both storage accounts before transferring a file
A direct transfer connects two accounts you authorize. Choose a single non-sensitive file first and verify the source, destination, and permissions before starting.
- Use the exact destination folder and a test file when you are checking a new connection.
- Confirm overwrite behavior, file name, size, and destination access after the transfer completes.
- Remove connections you no longer need and keep account credentials, shared links, and transfer records out of public logs.
The transfer service handles the connection information and the requested file operation for the job. It is not a backup, archival service, or substitute for each storage provider’s own access controls and retention policy.

How Data Is Handled
Cloud authorizations and connection credentials are stored in a dedicated area separate from MV Tools cloud-save settings. Transfer jobs are isolated per account and limited to the selected file; the file is moved between connected providers and is not stored as a permanent MV Tools upload. Use a revocable app password or an access key limited to the required storage whenever the provider supports one.

Can I use the page without an account?

Can I transfer a whole folder?
This tool focuses on one selected file per task. Folder and batch transfers are not available.
Are transfer connections shared with other MV Tools cloud features?
No. Cloud-transfer connections use separate records from cloud-save settings used by video downloads and remote downloads.
Will the file pass through my computer?
The transfer service moves the selected file between providers on the server side, so your browser does not need to download and upload the file.
