Legal

Terms of Use

Read the MV Tools terms of use, including accounts, Google and Apple sign-in, permitted and prohibited use, cloud transfer, server-assisted tools, temporary files, temporary services, and service limitations.

Effective date: September 4, 2026

Acceptance

By using MV Tools, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your email address accurate, protecting your password, and all activity under your account. You should notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Permitted use

Use MV Tools only for content, URLs, files, and data that you own, are authorized to process, or are legally allowed to use.

Prohibited use

You must not use MV Tools to:

  • violate copyright, privacy, security, or other legal rights;
  • download, copy, distribute, or process content without authorization;
  • attack, scan, overload, or interfere with networks, systems, or websites;
  • submit malware, abusive content, or illegal material;
  • create automated accounts, impersonate others, or bypass service limits;
  • attempt to bypass access controls, rate limits, or security restrictions;
  • use URL or webpage tools to access internal, private, or unauthorized resources.

Connected cloud storage

Google Drive and Dropbox integrations are optional. By connecting an account, you authorize MV Tools to create folders and upload files you manually select. You remain responsible for the provider account, storage, content, and provider terms.

Availability depends on the provider. Removing a connection revokes its authorization but does not delete files already uploaded.

Temporary files

Server-generated files are temporary and may be deleted automatically. The current default retention period is 30 minutes.

Temporary network services

Temporary FTP and similar network services are provided only for short-lived testing and may be limited or destroyed automatically.

Account deletion, suspension, and sessions

You may delete your account or sign out active sessions when those options are available. MV Tools may suspend accounts, revoke sessions, or refuse requests to protect the service, users, or third parties.

Security and cryptography tools

AES, RSA, password, and related tools are provided for general utility. You are responsible for safe parameters and key handling.

Availability and limits

MV Tools may apply limits for file size, rate, runtime, storage, accounts, or temporary services. Processing may fail for technical or security reasons.

No warranty

MV Tools is provided as-is and as-available.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MV Tools is not liable for losses arising from your use of the service.

Independent games

Cloudridge Flow and Rollision are separate offline games and are not features of the mv.tools website. These website terms apply to MV Tools web services only; use of either game is governed by the applicable app-store and product disclosures.

Google and Apple sign-in

Google sign-in and Sign in with Apple are optional ways to create or access a MV Tools account. You authorize the provider to authenticate you and return the account claims described in the Privacy Policy. You must keep your provider account available and comply with the provider’s terms. Provider outages or changes may affect sign-in.

Deleting your MV Tools account removes the linked provider association, but it does not delete your Google or Apple account. Do not use another person’s provider account or attempt to bypass identity, account, or security controls.

Cloud Transfer and user-provided apps

Cloud Transfer lets you transfer one selected file between connected cloud accounts. You authorize the provider permissions and remain responsible for the source, destination, file name, file contents, storage capacity, and any overwrite or duplicate-file result. If you provide a cloud app client ID or secret, you must be authorized to use that app and must keep the credentials accurate and under your control.

MV Tools may use cloud transfer service and short-lived server processes to perform the requested transfer. Availability, limits, provider permissions, and transfer behavior depend on the selected provider. Disconnecting a cloud account does not delete files already stored with that provider.

URL, media, and public-content tools

You may use URL, video, Instagram, webpage, and remote-download tools only for public or authorized content. You must comply with copyright, privacy, contract, platform terms, and applicable law. Do not use these tools to access private or internal resources, bypass access controls, or cause requests to be sent to systems without permission.

Server-assisted tools and temporary retention

Server-assisted tools process the files, URLs, media, and document formats needed for the requested operation, including newer preview, conversion, OCR, and email tools. Uploaded files and generated outputs are temporary and are normally removed after the current retention period, currently 30 minutes for most tools. Remote-download results and temporary service instances may have separate limits and expiry periods, and you should download or copy anything you need before it expires.

Traffic allowances

Eligible accounts currently receive 10 GiB for account creation and 1 GiB for each UTC-day check-in. Traffic currently does not expire. Where shown in a tool, traffic is consumed for the completed file delivery or save-to-cloud operation; a failed cloud save releases its reservation.

Traffic is a service allowance, not money, stored value, or transferable property. It cannot be sold, redeemed, refunded, or restored after account deletion. MV Tools may withhold, correct, reverse, or limit traffic for technical errors, duplicate rewards, fraud, abuse, or attempts to bypass service or security limits. A balance does not guarantee that a requested job can be completed.

Service changes

Tools may be changed, limited, suspended, or removed at any time.
